Ernest Gold

Academy Award-winning composer. He composed the ratings for “Exodus,” “Fun with Dick and Jane,” and several other movies. He emigrated from Austria to america in 1938 and started his profession in 1945. It could last until 1992. He was nominated for an Academy Prize four situations and a Golden World 3 x. He gained a Grammy Prize and a Golden World for 1959’s “Over the Seaside” and an Oscar for “Exodus” from 1960. He wedded singer and celebrity Marni Nixon in 1950, plus they divorced in 1969. His kid Andrew Silver also became a composer and was most widely known for composing ‘Give thanks to You to be a pal,’ the 1978 melody that could serve as the theme to ‘The Golden Young ladies,’ the long-running tv sitcom. He composed the rating for the 1963 humor “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Globe” aimed by Stanley Kramer.
