Remembered best because the original wife of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormonism) founder Joseph Smith, this Pennsylvania-born woman can be notable on her behalf leadership from the Girls’ Relief Culture of Nauvoo (Illinois). In her early adulthood years, she offered like a scribe during her husband’s dictation from the Publication of Mormon. Within the middle-1830s, she was in charge of organizing the Chapel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ 1st assortment of hymns. Her seventeen-year relationship to Joseph Smith led to eleven kids. She later got a three-decade-long relationship to Lewis Bidamon. She and poet Eliza Snow had been both wives of Joseph Smith, Jr.
