American jazz guitarist who became more popular through the 1980s before her untimely death in 1990. Her seven albums presented hard bop, jazz requirements, and fusion acoustic guitar. She began to find out guitar at age 10. She went to the Berklee University of Music from 1974 until 1976, where she was launched to jazz greats Plant Ellis, Wes Montgomery, Joe Move, Pat Martino, Charlie Christian, Kilometers Davis, and John Coltrane. She relocated to New Orleans after university where she performed in blues and jazz night clubs with FourPlay, L’il Queenie as well as the Percolators, along with other rings. She learned to try out on her behalf brother’s Gibson Sera-330. She and her spouse, Jamaican jazz pianist Monty Alexander, had been wedded from 1981 until 1984. Her first influences had been Johnny Winter season and Jimi Hendrix.
