MLB catcher who spent 12 years using the Baltimore Orioles, supporting the team get a global Series Tournament in 1970. He started playing baseball along with his dad when he was a kid, never looking to change pro. After overall his MLB profession, he became a large celebrity in Puerto Rico, playing 17 months using the Cangrejeros de Santurce. He was created in Charlotte Amalie, USA Virgin Islands. He as well as the famous Cal Ripken Jr. both became longtime Baltimore Orioles.

3Has six children. From his first marriage Abegail 43, Elrod Jr. 41, Elroy 40 and Berecia 38. With current wife of 35 years Merle he has two Ryan 33 and Ian Christopher 29.
4Played his customary role as Santa Claus at the Orioles' holiday party for children then he went out to distribute gifts to needy youngsters two days prior to his death.
5He was considered the most beloved Oriole of all time. He would be the first player in the ballpark to sign autographs for his fans.
