Biography

American children’s author most widely known for presenting an authentic and positive view of contemporary African-American communities. She went to Miner Teachers University, but didn’t complete her level as she understood she didn’t desire to be a instructor. She, instead, proved helpful for the POSTOFFICE. She gained the Coretta Scott Ruler Award on her behalf 1976 book, Africa Wish. She and her hubby, Steve, acquired one daughter called Monica. She composed a significant biography of civil privileges head Rosa Parks.
