An American writer of children’s literature, she actually is most well-known for her well-known Puppy Place and Kitty Part books. Her tales have already been translated into both French and Spanish. She read voraciously as a kid. Early in her literary profession, she was especially inspired with the children’s books of Dorothy Canfield Fisher. Her children’s books frequently focus on years as a child pets; her have first family pet was a tortoise-shell kitty called Jenny. She got no kids of her very own, but became an aunt to three nieces.
