After graduating from Swarthmore University in the middle 1940s, she discovered employment being a researcher using the US Secretariat. She co-founded a bilingual information publication titled Un Grito del Norte. A indigenous of Washington, D.C., she afterwards lived in NY and SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. Her girl, Tessa, founded a California Latina movie theater business. She and fellow politics activist Cindy Sheehan both went for office in the Peace and Independence Party ticket.
