Elizabeth Kim


A Korean-American writer and journalist, she actually is best known on her behalf 2000 memoir, 10 Thousand Sorrows: The Extraordinary Trip of the Korean Battle Orphan. Her autobiographical function was translated into a lot more than ten dialects. She resided in San Rafael, California and worked well like a journalist in the Marin Impartial Journal. It had been during this time period that literary agent Patti Breitman asked her to create a memoir. At one stage, she worked well in Sweden like a model. She was created in South Korea for an American dad and a Korean mom. Her mom was tragically murdered in 1958 by Kim’s uncle and grandfather, of which stage Kim was delivered to an orphanage. She and Diane Sawyer are both well known journalists.
