Among the wealthiest females of her period. She constructed a billion-dollar beauty products empire. She resided with her sibling in NEW YORK where she proved helpful for the E.R. Squibb Pharmaceuticals Firm being a bookkeeper. She decorated her initial salon on 5th Avenue crimson to be able to stand out in the gray ones which were the standard at that time. She wedded Thomas Lewis in 1915 and jointly they expanded the business enterprise greatly, but continuous work resulted in their divorce. She acquired many celebrated customers, including Marilyn Monroe.
