Initial American woman to become selected being a juror. She offered in 1870 on the Laramie, Wyoming grand jury and continued to become person in the town’s Women’s Christian Temperance Union. She graduated near the top of her course through the Washington Feminine Seminary in Washington, Pa and subsequently proved helpful being a schoolteacher. She was nominated to perform for the Territorial legislature, but dropped for unknown factors. She wedded Stephen Boyd in 1870. She and Clarence Clark had been both energetic in Wyoming politics and social agencies during the past due nineteenth and early twentieth generations.
