Republican politician who served as the 10th governor of Arkansas from 1872 to 1874. He was a Whig party member and offered in Arkansas’s Home of Associates in 1854. He offered in the U.S. Home of Associates from 1854 to 1860, acquiring 1856 to 1858 off as he required the Arkansas pub exam. He refused to battle for the Confederate military and was attempted for treason before escaping to battle for the Union. He was wedded to Harriet Paxton with whom he previously six kids, three males and three ladies. He was Governor of Arkansas through the presidential term of Ulysses S. Give who distributed his political viewpoint.
