Beat Era poet whose function was published in Town Lamps Journal and additional prominent literary mags. A posthumous assortment of her poetry — Elise Cowen: Poems and Fragments — was released in 2014. She went to Barnard University, where she fulfilled longtime friend and fellow beatnik poet Allen Ginsberg. She was treated for psychosis and hepatitis at Bellevue Medical center and later finished her own existence. Her family members, disliking her sex and drug-use-themed functions, destroyed the majority of her poetry after her loss of life. She was affected by the task of Emily Dickinson.
