Best known because the inventor of mechanical lubrication for vapor motors, he also had 57 various other U.S. patents to his name. His name, McCoy, is really a likely origin from the appearance “The true McCoy.” He was employed being a railroad fireman and oiler for the Michigan Central Railroad. Mich recognizes his historical contributions is many methods including a traditional marker at his previous home. He was initially wedded to Ann Elizabeth Stewart who passed away four brief years once they married. Then wedded Mary Eleanor Delaney. He was recognized in Booker T. Washington’s reserve Story from the Negro as a respected black inventor.
