Inventor from the natural cotton gin, a machine that separated natural cotton seeds from materials. He worked like a producer, farmer, and instructor. His natural cotton gin greatly increased the natural cotton industry in america as well as the Antebellum South and was one of the biggest inventions from the Industrial Trend. He wedded Henrietta Edwards in 1817 and experienced a child, Pierpont Edwards. His natural cotton gin also resulted in the development of slavery, which Abraham Lincoln abolished.
