Eli Manning

Biography

NFL quarterback who was simply named MVP of Super Bowls XLII and XLVI while leading the brand new York Giants to triumph over the brand new Britain Patriots on both events. He was chosen first overall from the NORTH PARK Chargers in 2004, after that traded right to the Giants. He’s the younger sibling of fellow Super Dish MVP Peyton Manning. He made a decision to go to the University or college of Mississippi after he received a contact from legendary university football trainer David Cutcliffe, who also coached his sibling at the University or college of Tennessee. He was the very best potential customer in the 2004 NFL Draft but he publicly announced that he wouldn’t play for the NORTH PARK Chargers if indeed they picked him first overall, therefore the Chargers were forced to trade his rights to the brand new York Giants in trade for another future Pro Bowl quarterback, Philip Rivers. He married his senior high school sweetheart Abby McGrew in April 2008. The couple has two daughters named Ava and Lucy. His unlikely completion to David Tyree, which became referred to as the “Helmet Catch,” late in Super Bowl XLII helped propel the Giants to a 17-14 win and spoiled the Patriots’ hopes of the undefeated season.
