Jazz artist referred to as a kid prodigy. His playing was praised because of its technique and musicality. He was signed up for the Interlochen Middle for the Arts when he was a teenager. He afterwards studied on the Thornton College of Music on the School of Southern California. He initial learned C Jam Blues, the 1942 jazz regular by Duke Ellington. He was uncovered at nine by jazz aficionado Charles McWhorter. His family members transferred to Kansas Town due to its jazz legacy. He became the youngest performer to seem on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz on NPR. He was 12.
