Biography

A Newbery Medal-winning writer, she penned the 1997 children’s reserve, The Watch from Sunday, which targets the life of the paraplegic gal. Her various other acclaimed works consist of In the Mixed-Up Data files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler (1967) and Silent towards the Bone tissue (2000). She examined chemistry on the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh. She released her initial children’s function, “Jennifer, Hecate, Macbeth, William McKinley, and Me, Elizabeth,” in 1967. She released The Mysterious Advantage from the Heroic Globe in 2007. She wedded David Konigsburg in 1952. Jointly, the couple acquired three kids. Her book, the Mixed-Up Data files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, was modified right into a film starring Ingrid Bergman.
