Dominican-American initial baseman who became among the MLB’s best power hitters during his time using the Toronto Blue Jays, hitting more than 30 residential runs five direct seasons from 2012 to 2016. Before the 2017 period, he signed using the Cleveland Indians. He was chosen by the Tx Rangers in the ninth circular from the 2000 MLB Draft. He became an All-Star for the very first time through the 2013 period. He was created in the Dominican Republic to Mireya Rivera and Elpidio Encarnación. He provides two brothers and a sister. He and fellow slugger Jose Bautista mixed to form among the best power-hitting duos in the main leagues for the Blue Jays.
