Lyrical Abstract and Abstract Expressionist painter who belonged to the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences. His artwork crossed multiple mass media, including essential oil paintings, gouache, graphical design, ceramics, mosaics, murals, and theatrical established design. He finished his studies on the Academy of Great Arts in Zagreb in 1941. He was mixed up in anti-fascist motion during World Battle II. He was an associate from the Helsinki Committee for Individual Rights. He was created in Velika Pisanica, Croatia, to Vinko and Franciska Murtić. The family members afterwards relocated to Zagreb. He and Vincent Truck Gogh had been fellow painters.
