Edmund Andros

English-born politics administrator who served as colonial Governor of NY, Virginia, and Maryland. From 1686-1689, he also offered as Governor from the Dominion of New Britain. He was created in London to royalist parents: his dad, the Bailiff of Guernsey, backed Ruler Charles I, and his mom, Elizabeth Rock, was the sister of the royal courtier. An unpopular body in the colonies, he came back to Britain in 1698. He wed Mary Craven in 1671. He was wedded twice even more; his third wife was Elizabeth Fitzhebert.
