American poet known for The Inverted Touch, The Flower In the Ashes, Lyrics and Sonnets, and various other works. Her poems, that have been released by such well-known publications as The Atlantic Once a month and Scribner’s, frequently address the liveliness from the metropolitan environment. She briefly went to Oberlin University. She released her debut poetry collection, A FRESH Year’s Masque and Various other Poems, in 1885. She was utilized by Harper’s in NEW YORK.
