Well-known jazz artist in the 1940s who also had comebacks in the fifties, sixties, and eighties. He constructed Canadian Sunset in 1956. He performed with the fantastic jazz artists from the 1930s, including Wayman Carver, Clarence Like, and Benny Carter. His edition of Start the Beguine was a 1944 strike and kicked off three of the very most successful many years of his profession. His dad Eddie Heywood Sr., also a jazz musician, started schooling him when he was 12. He performed back-up for Billie Visit to 1941.
