Eddie Durham

Jazz trombonist and pioneer using the electric guitar who also used Jimmie Lunceford and Count number Basie’s Orchestra, and arranged Glenn Miller’s “In the Feeling.” He was portion of Bennie Moten’s Kansas Town Orchestra, where Counts Basie performed the piano, and Durham became a member of Basie himself in 1937. He made up “Topsy” and “Out the Windowpane” for Count number Basie and “Lunceford Unique” for Jimmie Lunceford. He was created in San Marcos, Tx, his dad Joe Durham was a fiddle participant at rectangular dances, and his sibling was a one-time cellist with Nat Ruler Cole. He previously collaborations with Cab Calloway, among a great many other notable musicians.
