British poet most widely known for The Corn Law Rhymes, a work posted in 1831. His poem “The People’s Anthem” was established to music in 1847. He experienced a childhood episode of smallpox that affected his wellness for the others of his lifestyle. He composed his initial poem at age seventeen.
