Earl Bennett


Past Vanderbilt wide receiver was determined from the Chicago Bears in another round from the 2008 NFL Draft. He was a three-time All-SEC participant at Vanderbilt, and arranged a meeting record with 236 receptions. After spending the complete rookie season around the sidelines, he was extremely excited to observe his previous Vanderbilt teammate, Jay Cutler, arrive at the Bears, and became decided to earn a beginning wide receiver place. He was created in Birmingham, Alabama. He captured his 1st NFL touchdown move from Jay Cutler in week 13 of this year’s 2009 NFL time of year contrary to the St. Louis Rams.

1He toured with Spike Jones and His City Slickers under the name "Sir Frederic Gas". He wore a black suit with long tails, a string necktie and teased his long hair out into a "fright wig". His comic specialty was rubbing two sticks together, while squeaking a leather reed in his mouth, creating a comical instrument he called his Sadivarious. He later joined UPA and Hanna-Barbara cartoon studios as a film editor. Retired and painted for a hobby until blindness set in.
