Duke Snider

Hall of Popularity MLB outfielder and 8-period All-Star referred to as the Metallic Fox; helped business lead the Dodgers to Globe Series Championships in 1955 and 1959. He performed football, golf ball, and football at Compton SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL and graduated in 1944. His #4 shirt was retired from the LA Dodgers and he was inducted in to the Football Hall of Popularity in 1980. Experienced two sons and two daughters along with his wife Beverly, whom he wedded in 1947. He performed alongside shortstop Pee Wee Reese around the 1955 Globe Series Champ Dodgers and was coached by Reese around the 1959 Globe Series Tournament squad.
