Douglas Kenney

Writer and acting professional who created a completely new type of satirical books when he founded the Country wide Lampoon publication in 1970. He also co-wrote and created the classic humor films Animal Home and Caddyshack. He and his fellow Harvard college student created a publication with dark, sophomoric and vulgar laughter, which proved popular using the campus. After offering his publication for $7 million, he continued to produce Country Lampoon’s Animal Home, where he made an appearance briefly as the frat sibling ‘Stork.’ He was raised in West Hand Seaside, Florida. His make of satire continued to influence long term well-known comedians like Jon Stewart.
