Hall of Popularity defender who won six Stanley Glass Championships using the Montreal Canadiens from 1953 to 1960. A 7-period receiver of the Wayne Norris Memorial Trophy for the NHL’s best defenseman, he’s widely considered one of the better defenders to ever play the overall game. He first performed professional hockey using the Montreal Royals in the Quebec Older Hockey Little league in 1945. After his period using the Canadiens, he bounced around between several AHL teams just like the Baltimore Clippers and Pittsburgh Hornets aswell as multiple NHL groups just like the St. Louis Blues and Detroit Crimson Wings. He was created in Montreal Canada. He was longtime teammates with the fantastic Maurice Richard in Montreal.
