Biography

Also called Hoss Funk, he was inducted in to the NWA Hall of Fame in 2006, as well as the WWE Hall of Fame in ’09 2009. He performed college soccer at West Tx State School, before seeking professional wrestling. Among his many accolades and championships, he gained the NWA Globe Heavyweight Tournament on Feb 11, 1969. He wedded Jimmie Funk in 1960, and Marti Funk in 1989, and elevated five children between your two. After retiring from wrestling he exposed a wrestling college, where he provides taught wrestlers such as for example Mickie James.
