Don McLean

Biography

Singer-songwriter most widely known for his #1 strike solitary “American Pie” and his smaller strike, “Vincent.” He was the receiver of the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Folk Honours Life Time Accomplishment Award. After obtaining his acoustic guitar, he started producing contacts all around the music globe, documenting in his 1st studio program while still in prep college. In 2001, “American Pie” was voted #5 on a summary of the 365 Tracks from the Hundred years. He wedded his first wife, Carol, in 1969 and divorced in 1972. He offers two kids, Jackie and Wyatt, along with his wife Patrisha Shnier. He discovered the artwork of carrying out from his friend and coach, Pete Seeger.
