Don Ho

Biography

Most widely known for theme tune Tiny Bubbles. He was a Hawaii-based entertainer whose music helped provide his island’s lifestyle to mainstream America. He was a 1949 graduate from the Kamehameha Institutions. He played soccer at Springfield University on a scholarship or grant. He made an appearance on I Imagine Jeannie, The Brady Number, Sanford and Boy, Batman, Charlie’s Angels, McCloud, and got his very own weekday morning hours ABC Television series from Oct 1976 until March 1977. He wedded Melva May Kolokea Wong, his senior high school sweetheart, on November 21, 1951, with whom he previously six kids. He wedded Haumea Hebenstreit on Sept 12, 2006, pursuing Melva May’s 1999 loss of life. He and Dick Dale both sang for Aloha, Scooby-Doo!, the 2005 direct-to-video cartoon movie predicated on the long-running Television series.
