Diana Sands

African-American actress and Actors Studio room member who appeared within the theatrical and film versions of the Raisin in sunlight. She performed within the Stars Studio’s lauded creation of Blues for Mr. Charlie. She also made an appearance in several shows of such tv shows because the Fugitive, I Spy, and Outer Limitations. She was nominated for the Tony Award on her behalf function in the 1964 Broadway creation from the Owl as well as the Pussycat. She was briefly wedded to Swiss musician Lucien Happersberger. She was ensemble as Adam Earl Jones’s co-star within the 1974 film Claudine. Unfortunately, she passed away of cancers at age group thirty-nine, as well as the role visited celebrity Diahann Carroll (her buddy) instead.
