A Bermuda-born actress whose profession has spanned from the first 1940’s to her last display credit in the 2003 film It Works in the Family members. She actually is also known to be the ex-wife of Kirk Douglas and mom to Michael Douglas. She researched performing with Kirk Douglas in the first 1940’s and worked well like a model before getting her first part in the 1942 film Keeper from the Fire. She grew up beneath the Christian Chapel of Britain. Her mom was Ruth Rapalje and her dad was Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Melville Dill, previous Commanding Officer from the Bermuda Militia Artillery. In 1944, she offered delivery to Michael Douglas, and in 1947, she offered delivery to Joel Douglas. Although she divorced Kirk Douglas in 1951, both remained amicable close friends, even showing up alongside one another in multiple movies.
