Best known while an associate of a fresh York-based band of hip hop performers called Diggin’ in the Crates, this rapper and music maker also released many single albums, including Stunts, Blunts, and HIPHOP (released in 1992) and Hatred, Passions, and Infidelity (released in 1997). Early in his profession, he created two LPs for Lord Finesse: Funky Specialist and Return from the Funky Guy. Through the 1990s, he and Busta Rhymes collaborated on many music projects. Given birth to Joseph Kirkland, he grew up in the Bronx borough of NEW YORK. He created Queen Latifah’s 1998 monitor “I HAVE NO IDEA” (from her Purchase in the Courtroom album).
