Denoe Leedy

Classical pianist who served as Chairman from the Section of Music at Support Holyoke University from 1937 until 1958. He graduated from Baltimore’s Peabody Institute. He performed using the Baltimore Symphony as well as the Cleveland Orchestra. He wedded Marion Sarles, and jointly they had one young child, Diana, in 1927. He premiered Aaron Copland’s Passacaglia in Boston in November 1925.
