Denny McLain

3-period All-Star and 1968 World Series Champ pitcher for the Detroit Tigers who became involved with organized crime, resulting in personal bankruptcy, multiple arrests, and jailtime. He performed shortstop and pitcher at Mt. Carmel SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Chicago, Illinois. After providing out a half-season suspension system when his gaming found light, he by no means regained his dominance, and retired to spotlight gaming full-time. He wedded Sharyn Boudreau, the child of previous MLB celebrity Lou Boudreau. Along with his tragic and completely predictable downfall, he became a member of the rates of Pete Rose as well as the Chicago Dark Sox as cautionary stories of prosperity and arrogance in professional football.
