NHL defenseman who became another captain for the Calgary Flames, supporting lead the group towards the playoffs in 2015. He was chosen 241st general in the 2002 NHL Draft from the Buffalo Sabres. He performed for the St. Louis Blues, Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals before a trade delivered him towards the Calgary Flames in 2012. He was created in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He and Tag Giordano became the very best two defenders within the Flames. Giordano’s damage midway through the 2014-15 time of year then pressured Wideman to consider an even larger role within the team.
