Denis Dufour

Known best being a author of contemporary art music, Dufour wrote such acclaimed electroacoustic pieces simply because “In Paradisum,” “Je Voulais Parler des Oiseaux,” and “The Blob.” He pioneered a pre-recorded, speaker-based genre of concert music referred to as “Acousmatic music.” After schooling on the Paris Conservatoire, he started a music teaching profession on the Paris Boulogne-Billancourt. He made an annual French digital music event referred to as the Futura Celebration. He was created and elevated in Lyons, France. He and Jean Jarre are both well-known French composers of digital music.
