Delmore Schwartz

Bollingen Prize-winning American poet and writer known for a 1959 collection entitled Summer season Understanding: New and Selected Poems. His additional works use in Dreams Begin Obligations and The Globe Is a marriage. He researched at Columbia College or university, the College or university of Wisconsin, and NY University. He experienced from mental disease and alcoholism and passed away at age group fifty-two. During his loss of life, he was a citizen at New York’s Columbia Resort. He was wedded to Gertrude Buckman from 1937-1943; he later on wed and divorced Elizabeth Pollet. Musician Lou Reed devoted his music “European Sunlight” to Schwartz.
