Known for co-founding the Abercrombie & Fitch clothes retail string with fellow businessman Ezra Fitch, he also served as vice leader of shoe seller Baker, Murray & Imbrie. After participating in Baltimore City University, he was utilized by the Norfolk & Traditional western Railroad company being a topographer and civil engineer. The initial Abercrombie & Fitch shop opened up on Manhattan’s South Road in June of 1892. He was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, because the kid of Elizabeth Daniel and John Abercrombie.
