As Colorado Poet Laureate and co-director from the Creative Composing Plan at Colorado University, this acclaimed writer published poetry series like the Country I RECALL as well as the Buried Homes. He also became known for his traditional verse book, Ludlow, aswell for his essays and memoirs. After getting his undergraduate level from Colorado University, he received his PhD in the School of Rochester and eventually started a decade-long teaching profession at Minnesota Condition School Moorhead. His acclaimed poems consist of “Evening Squall” (released in the brand new Criterion journal in 1996), “A Thorn in the Paw” (released in Poetry mag in 2004), and “THE UNITED STATES I RECALL: A Narrative” (released in the Hudson Review in 1995). He and his initial wife, Jonna Heinrich, resided in Greece for a while. He later wedded Anne Lennox and, when that union also finished in divorce, fellow poet Cally Conan-Davies. He and German poet Andrea Hollander Budy had been both recipients from the esteemed Nicholas Roerich Poetry Award.
