Businessman and politician who all served seeing that 5th Secretary of Agriculture, under Leader Wilson from 1913 to 1920. He notably helped move the Smith-Lever Action, the Farm Mortgage Action, as well as the Warehouse Action, which were groundbreaking agricultural laws and regulations. He established the institution of Structures while functioning as the chancellor of Washington School. He was the 4th Leader of the School of Texas as well as the 11th Leader of Tx A&M School. His parents had been William Henry and Cornelia Anne Houston. In 1892, he received a M.A. in politics research from Harvard School; Wallace Shawn also graduated from Harvard.
