David Dubinsky

Former President from the International Females’ Garment Employees’ Union, and a founder from the American Labor Party. He also helped create the Congress of Industrial institutions, a federation of commercial unions. He became a staunch socialist at age group 15 before shifting to brooklyn and taking on just work at a garment stock. He received the Presidential Medal of Independence on January 20, 1969 for his life’s function of safeguarding the working course. He was created the youngest of 5 children and 3 young ladies. His ILGWU company backed Harry S. Truman in the 1948 U.S. Presidential election.
