Experimental poet and spoken-word performer who’s most widely known for his philosophically-inspired “talk poems.” His released works include Speaking at the Limitations, Tuning, and What THIS MEANS to become Avant-Garde. He went to New York College or university. He released his debut poetic function, Explanations, in 1967. He performed his poetry in 2008 at a California literary celebration called &Today. His wife, Eleanor Antin, also proved helpful as an writer and performance musician. He had written a poem entitled “Code of Flag Behavior” that was motivated by the task of William Carlos Williams.
