Became referred to as the famed creator and ceo from the fast food cafe string, Wendy’s. He became the tv screen spokesperson for the business in 1989 and made an appearance in over 800 advertisements for the favorite cafe. He opened the very first Wendy’s in Columbus, Ohio, on November 15, 1969. He called the cafe string after his youngest girl whose genuine name was in fact Melinda Lou, but she was referred to as Wendy. He was created Rex David Thomas in Atlantic Town, NJ, and he was used when he was half a year old. He previously five children along with his wife Lorraine, whom he wedded in 1956. He passed away at age 69 in January 2002 after experiencing a cancerous liver organ tumor. He and Ray Kroc had been both business owners behind successful junk food joints.
