Daryle Lamonica

Former quarterback who was simply named the American Soccer League’s MOST EFFECTIVE Participant in 1967 and 1969 as an associate from the Oakland Raiders. He was famously nicknamed “The Mad Bomber.” He was a celebrity participant at Clovis SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, which eventually called its soccer stadium Lamonica Stadium. He retired using the second-best earn percentage in AFL background with 78.4%. He wedded his wife, Mary, in 1970. He was changed as the quarterback from the Oakland Raiders by Ken Stabler in 1973.
