Darius Milhaud

French jazz-influenced modernist composer who rose to popularity as an associate of the group Les 6. His compositions utilize polytonality. He analyzed violin when he was youthful, but shifted his concentrate to structure and studied in the Paris Conservatory. He also trained music at Mills University in Oakland, California. He wedded Madeleine Milhaud in 1925, plus they experienced one son who was simply given birth to in 1930. One of is own college students was songwriter Burt Bacharach.
