Daniel Gunther

Canadian armed service man who served in Bosnia as an infantry person in the US Protection Push. He was wiped out doing his thing in 1993. Early in his armed service career, he became a member of the Canadian Army’s Royal 22nd Regiment. It had been with this group that he offered in Bosnia. The accounts of his loss of life vary: he was either wiped out with a mortar or by an anti-artillery rocket. After his loss of life, he was honored using the Canadian Peacekeeping Services Medal. He and Rob Furlong had been both twentieth-century Canadian battle heroes.
