He was a fresh father having a ill kid, and he persuaded his dad to utilize the family members canning company to produce strained baby meals, taking the task out of earning the food in the home. His baby meals went nationwide in 1928 with advertisements in Great Housekeeping and Parents Publication, and by 1945 product sales of his baby meals exceeded that of the adult meals. His dad Frank Gerber possessed the Fremont Canning Organization to make make for local marketplaces. He and Jeno Paulucci both noticed an untapped marketplace for a fresh kind of meals and launched entire businesses focused on filling it.
