Well-known for his folk and jazz fusion music, this acclaimed saxophonist shaped The Daniel Bennett Group and collaborated with such significant musicians as Chris Hersch, Jason Davis, Expenses Frisell, and Steve Kuhn. He began playing the saxophone when he was simply ten years aged; by age nineteen, he was carrying out professionally. He analyzed music at Roberts Wesleyan University and the brand new Britain Conservatory. He documented many albums under his Bennett Alliance record label, including A Country of Bears (in 2007) and Serenity and Balance Among Bears (in 2011). A indigenous of Rochester, NY, he later resolved in Boston, Massachusetts and NEW YORK. While their studies at the New Britain Conservatory, he qualified under fellow saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi.
